The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to permanently join our English Faculty at Priory Community School – An Academy. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an established English faculty and to be able to make a different to our students.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join The Priory Learning Trust.

As part of this role, you will;

  • To contribute to the progress and successful implementation of the academy and Departmental Developments Plans.
  • Ensuring high quality pedagogy and learning experiences within the classroom.
  • To promote the faculty as a subject across the academy.

The successful candidates will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Relevant teaching experience in Key Stay 3 and 4.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ensure effective quality control and continuous improvement in all aspects of the work and responsibilities attached to this post.
  • Commit to professional self-development, through participation in in-service training as necessary for the successful carrying out of the job.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
